Writing an Academic Essay

An academic essay is kind of written in prose composition briefly, analyzes, interprets and evaluates a topic. In other words, academic essay is trying to solve a problem by argument.

  2. Selection and delimitation of the subject.
  3. Formulate various hypotheses about the problem at hand. That is, the problem is solvable yes or no? How? Why? etc.
  4. Get information from various sources such as books, DVD’s, CD’s, internet, magazines, etc.
  5. Read, summarize and select useful information.
  6. Determine the line of arguments.
  7. Select the information to support the line of argument.
  8. Outlining the possible literature on the model chosen citation and reference.
  9. Prepare a draft text.
  10. Correct the draft, paying special attention to the exhibition argumentative- line.
  11. Review the parenthetical references, quotations and paraphrases, footnotes and references end.
